Obituary of Mary Lou Noble

MaryLou was a radiant soul who graced this world with her presence, embraced by God's love, peacefully passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, Florida, where she now joins her beloved husband, John, who awaited her with patient love. Born on July 2, 1936, in Dearborn, Michigan, MaryLou was the embodiment of warmth and kindness, the eldest daughter of Leone and Helen Weaver. Alongside her siblings, Joyce Ann and William Lee, MaryLou's life journey was marked by an unwavering spirit and a heart brimming with love. Educated in Dearborn, MaryLou graduated from Dearborn High School in 1954, setting the stage for a life filled with purpose and devotion. Her quest for knowledge led her to Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa, where she embarked on a journey that would intertwine her fate with her soulmate, John. It was through serendipitous meetings and heartfelt letters that MaryLou's path crossed with John's, culminating in a union blessed on August 26, 1955, at the RLDS Church in Royal Oak, Michigan. Together, they embarked on a life's adventure, from the forests of Silverwater, Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada, to the bustling streets of Dearborn, Michigan, where they nurtured their dreams and love. MaryLou's commitment to learning and growth was evident throughout her life. While John pursued his studies at Eastern Michigan University, MaryLou enriched minds as a dedicated librarian, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of students and colleagues alike. Her passion for education knew no bounds, as she earned her master's degree in library science from Warrensburg, MO, in 1977. As devoted members of the Community of Christ, MaryLou and John shared their faith and love with all they encountered. Their commitment to service and spiritual guidance illuminated the lives of many as Elders within their community and committed servants of Jesus Christ. In their golden years, MaryLou and John found solace and joy in the serene embrace of Punta Gorda, Florida, where they spent cherished winters and eventually settled permanently. Their presence enriched the congregation of the North Fort Meyers Community of Christ, where they found fellowship and spiritual nourishment. MaryLou's passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, yet her legacy of love, faith, and compassion will endure through the memories she leaves behind. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leone and Helen Weaver, her sister Joyce MacNeil (Weaver), brother-in-law Gordon MacNeil, and her beloved husband, John. She is survived by her brother, William Lee Weaver, and his wife, Phyllis Weaver, along with numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by her grace. In the embrace of eternity, MaryLou and John's love remains eternal, a testament to the beauty of a life lived in service to others. Though they may have been be physically parted, their spirits were/are intertwined. Now they are, forever united in God's boundless love. MaryLou and John will be deeply missed by all whose lives they touched, yet their love will continue to illuminate our hearts and souls for generations to come.
